I think we’ll win on Sunday (although every time I’ve fancied us this season we’ve lost).
Whether the other results go our way is another matter. Regardless of what happens at the SOL, Anfield or the AMEX, the season has been a resounding success!

I think they will. If they got beat in both the semi's and then final it would truly sum up their season though. Such an up and down team this year

He isn’t actually miserable per se.
He put £20 @33/1 at the start of the season, for us to finish top half…for instance.
He just has no ‘romantic’ notions in his bleedin heart as far as football is concerned.
It is all hard facts.
And when we get there he will be as uproariously happy as the next MLB.
He will then immediately go into ‘squad building’ mode.
I’m sure he fancies himself as a hard-nosed manager or pundit or something!
Whereas….I am aware of overreaching and I think of things that can go wrong (been a SAFC fan for way too many decades and so pessimism is sort of inbuilt…) and so don’t go mad in my thoughts.
BUT!…I do allow myself to be subconsciously happy and excited in the good times and these are definitely good times!!!
Sorry…rambled on there. It’s like the last few days before Xmas
