Could technically class Philander as a genuine all rounder at county level. Averages 27 in tests and has a couple of hundreds in his first class career.

With stats like those he could probably bat at 4 for Durham.

This is obviously a wind up-someone doing a bit of cut and paste.If Sky were aware of Philander signing it would have been on the yellow tape and anounced constantly on the cricket tab which it hasn't. That's not to say it isn't Philander-be delighted if it is. He's recognised as an all-rounder-Currently No.1 in ICC all-rounder rankings.
