Kinda works like a polarizer I guess?

I can't see how it would would though without it affecting image quality though?

Better off with single ND's surely?

I remember looking at one of these before, some have an issue when you get a "cross" through your picture depending on the aperture used. I think its two polarised filters that get darker as you turn them - might be wrong tho.
