Used Car Sales Sites

I'm after a Vauxhall Insignia Tourer, ideally no more than £6k but could possibly go up to £7k.
Less than five year old and if possible a VXLine model or an Eco-Flex, I used to have one and loved it, but it died on me after I run it into the ground so I decided to change it for a Qashqai. We've just had a second kid and the storage space in the Qashqai is dog shit in comparison unfortunately so looking to go back to the Insignia
Clarks of ripon specialise in used Vauxhall, all ex Vauxhall top spec stuff .They've nowt in that price range at moment though
Are Insignias any good? Their value goes down so fast
All Vauxhalls do.I've had the tourer 2 years and its a great car .Too many bells and whistles for me as its top spec but it flies along for a 1.6 d

Saw some 68 plate Astras, year old, low mileage, top spec and they're £12k-13k. Cheap as chips. Not sure of the price new but their value must drop like a lead baloon. Do they blow up after two year or something?

If they're anything like a Corsa then yep

I found Evans Halshaw to be really good on price when I needed a car recently. Surprised to find myself recommending them, but here we are.

They drive like absolute shit, either way. Seriously, the drive on the hire car Vauxhall I had (corsa or astra, I forget) was shocking.

No,strangley .I think a massive amount of new sales are company car, lease, car hire type stuff and they wont pay the full list ,that then puts lots of cars in the second hand market and drives the price down
We buy one year old cars as company cars .We paid £12950 for a one year old zafira with 3000 miles on.It was SRI ELITE model and the list was £26000

I did read a couple of reviews and they said the Astra isn't bad, just unremarkable. Suppose that's just Vauxhall all over though.

Only recent Vauxhall I've driven was a hire Corsa and it was alright. But maybe the heated seats clouded my judgement.

Evans Halshaw et al are great if you’re the type of buyer who wants to walk in, pay cash and get the most car for your money.

If you want a coffee and a chat, a strong relationship, great customer care and an amazing sales experience (whatever that is) then you’re in the wrong place.

Of course, nothings ever free.

If I’m buying I want hassle free.
