Upheaval this summer

Liverpool will be in a bit of a rebuild phase I reckon. A lot of their old timers are going/gone, new manager.

You’d have thought the visitors would have sacked Howe by now if they wanted rid. Delighted.

Big changes next season

New managers at
City
Chelsea
Liverpool
Bournemouth
Fulham
Palace

Big spending rebuilds at
Man U
Scum
Spurs
Forest? (Who knows)

On top of 3 new promoted clubs

Could be chaos going into next season with the world cup delaying things potentially - I read only 9 managers kept their job out of 20 in the PL last season as well.

Seems madness. Maybe an opportunity for us?
Beheaddie gone by August surely?

A great team spirit, leadership and the joint commitment was a key to our success last season.
This must be maintained.
I’m confident it will be. ☺️🔴⚪

Tonali will leave & one of Livarmento or Hall imo.

They’ll get big money, but as we saw after they sold Isak - they’re not the best at spending it correctly.

Dont see Livramento going. Loads of talk about him, and being in the England squad will boost profile and price beyond most clubs. Man City rumoured? But if they dont come in, who does?
Mind Barcelona buying Gordon makes no sense so who knows

Hall is a fans favourite, could go but would rile the fans unless they get big money. Again, is the buyer out there prepared to pay what Newcastle would want?

At the end of the day Newcastle always hype up these players. But realistically they finished bottom half of the table, but the club will want Champions League money and that will put a lot off.

That said they have a history of flogging mediocre players for big money, only for them to have a career collapse, so who knows

Too many being disdainful about the prospects of the promoted clubs ( same people enraged about us being written off ) .
For all the plaudits RLB received for last season we have seen nothing to indicate that we are other than a damp squib without Xhaka in the line up. This is clearly borne out by PPG with him starting and when not available
It is very stark and we can only assume Ghisolfi has something up his sleeve
A serious injury in the WC and it will be squeaky bum time

What we have shown is that structure, patience, planning, and careful recruitment are all essential to success.

Chelsea and Liverpool both invested heavily in their squads and have little to show for it. Chelsea spent approx 300m and Liverpool 450m and didnt get the success they anticipated

I dont think the mags are going to spend big. Mind I don't think theyll lose many either.
PIF are changing their investment strategies, starting to pull out of sports, like they have on LIV Golf. I think the mags will soon se, that investments won't reflect them having the richest owners in their back

If the last 4 years have taught us nothing, it’s the value of steady progress over upheaval.

Evolution, not revolution. Patience over petulance.
We brought in 14 players and broke the record for the most spent by a newly promoted club. We definitely went for upheaval last summer and it got us into the Europa!
