If any of you are reading this from your picket line we are after a second umpire for our 25 over game between the Barmy Army and SMB CC at Wearmouth next Sunday, played in memory of George Summerside. 2 start.

This doesn't need to be a proper ump, just someone who knows the rules of the game as just about everyone reading this will. It's just a friendly so doesn't matter if it's your first time.

We are hoping to raise a lot of money for Chance to Shine on the day and also honour a top Durham/ England/ Sunderland fan. Thanks.
 

I thought we had loads of people wanting to play for the SMB so can we not just use one of them? I don't mind umpiring if we're stuck.

No, we are down to 12 regs now (Rob and Craig S can no longer make it) and you're needed to bowl!
