Aye he reckons it's illegal to cut down a tree with nesting birds. Just tip the eggs out and they're no longer nesting.

It is illegal. I used to be a Landscaper, Tree Surgeon. If we found a nest in the tree we had to leave it alone. Whether or not the owners tipped them out and called us back the next day was upto them like.
