I am doing the Keswick Mountain Festival 25k Trail Run next week and need some advice on trainers. I do a lot of my running on the C2C route from Fatfield into Sunderland, round Penshaw Monument and down the river. I have always worn the Gel Nimbus range and currently have the 17 edition which are class for me. My question is would these be OK for the trail run, I ran round Derwentwater the other week and had no issues but they highly recommend trail running shoes. Cheers in advance.
