This Kinks tune spoke to me and maybe changed my life a bit. This is not the original 1966 track, but I like the video on this live version too!
It was the B-side of 'Sunny Afternoon'.

Maybe not the original BUT it spoke so much for the attitudes I remember of that time.

I must confess to thinking she was Dusty. :oops:

It popped up in my Suggestions a few weeks ago and it was hard to connect her with Kiki Dee in the 70s.

This got to number 1 in the USA for 5 weeks and was the biggest US hit of 1967. In the UK it was the B side to "Let's Pretend" which only got to 11 so I think it counts ;)

Maybe I'm showing my softer side but I must confess to enjoying the film as well.
