It's a tough start relative to where we are as a team and the league we are in.

Three years ago, we had fixture lists against top PL teams. Now people are fannying on about playing Oxford bloody United.

The toughness will all depend on which players we bring in between now and the season starting. Right now we have a pretty thin squad that will find many fixtures tough going. Hopefully once we've recruited, we will be able to handle most fixtures.

The difference this coming season, is that Jack Ross has had a full season in this division, so will hopefully know how it works much better, which given the right team should mean we can handle the "big club" pressure.

Regardless, it's still not going to be a walk in the park like some expect though. We will still be considered a massive scalp for many clubs.

I’d say the problem is our static midfield, not the strikers.

It looks a tough start based on last season, but who knows. Scunthorpe went from in the playoffs to relegated from this league in 1 year, Shrewsbury flirted with it as well.
