Whitehurst is from Thurscoe where a lot of my relates live.I have a mate who was contracting at Eggborough Power Station when Billy worked in the stores for a period.
Apparently he gave everyone the third degree as to what they wanted and why they wanted it. My mate says it was a nightmare
It makes some of our ex pit villages seem posh.
