Google suggests between £25-45k/year. As I say, not much.

Personally, I really could not be arsed spending that much time going to every single game and every press conference. I’d be bored out of my brain.

You're probably highly employable within your chosen area though, I'm really not sure Barnes is or ever was. He commentates on Safc and that's it but personally I think he brings no joy, passion, knowledge or enthusiasm. In more recent years I relied on Radio Newcastle's coverage of most away games, that is until the FL streaming deal came along. By contrast I found Franky and Danny a breath of fresh air, a nice mix of really positive energy and very good insight.

I respect Benno's honesty but him and Barnes together drains the life out of it.

everyone is entiltled to thier opinions. He is not losing the plot, we conceded 9 goals in 2 games is alarming.
 
Not a Barnesy fan by any stretch so I wasn’t listening, but how is what he’s saying wrong? Or any different to the posts on here?

Its a fact that the defence against Forest was shocking and an argument can be said of the same about Villa. Its a fact that we’ve conceded 9 in 2. It’s a fact that results have luckily went our way two matchweeks in a row, so if we actually beat Villa and Forest we’d be in the 2 points clear in 6th.
 
Some people just love to pile onto someone for no good reason. You just need to look at some of the posts aimed at some of our players or Manager on a weekly basis.
I can only assume these people have their own agendas but they are certainly not helping the club or team in any way whatsoever

Spent ages talking about them, when asked about what changes Sunderland would make, referred straight back to them. Not biased at all😂
