Total Sport

I can see him now at his presser in a weeks time, pulling a used Metro ticket out of his chord jacket breast pocket, having walked from St Peter’s to the ground and presenting it proudly to the press. Only Nick Barnes in the sparsely populated press room will appreciate the gesture. Possibly KLD too. It will be our Christian Gross moment. And from here I only think it will go downhill.
I enjoyed KLD humbly telling us how he used the same entrance to the stadium as everyone else. I had assumed that like the Japanese emperor entering Seoul, he'd insist on them pulling part of the wall down so he wouldn't have to walk under an arch.

Strange, It's not like Radio Newcastle, or anything Newcastle related, to try to put a negative spin on anything to do with Sunderland, totally out of character.
Not sure how it's Radio Newcastle putting a negative spin on it when it was the contributor talking about him? Prydey expected the kid to be fairly complimentary about him, but he went for it soon as he came on and didn't paint a good picture at all to be fair.

What did he say?

Could be comedy gold in first training session.

Far to early to judge though. Give it 10 minutes into the first game ffs

The French podcaster lad couldn't stand him, you know how it goes when things go tits up at your club. Sounded like a bit of knob like a lot of "podcasters". Gobshites.

Anyhow, not that I trust our recruitment one bit, let's hope we've struck lucky with this latest risk strategy

Even the French journalist who came on around an hour later, wasn't exactly singing his praises, but at least didn't go as far as the Lorient fan.

.. Okay. But if we are 4-0 down I'm calling for his head ..

.. I bet there's no rain dripping on his head during games ..

The show didn't put a negative spin on it. The Lorient fan did.
They obviously knew the right voice to pick though, they knew what they wee getting man, a disgruntled Lorient fan talking about the manager that took them down, that would be like asking a Sunderland fan to talk about Moyes the season after we were relegated., If BBC can put a negative slant on anything Sunderland related, they will.
