what about the player they will have to buy and pay wages to to replace Ki ?
Wages is a given. Do you work for free?Still not profit is it.
That's the point.
Saying we signed player A for 1m and sold him for 10m doesn't mean a profit was made as a club. The profit is made on the fee.
Revenue must exceed costs for profit to exist. Unless you are selling players for huge profit like Coutinho clubs will be breaking even on transfers once wages are factored in .
NUFC don't sign or sell players on installments.
If they sign 5 players for 50m on 50k a week that is a spend of 62.5m plus their existing wage bill.
If the club are reporting 10m profit from that activity. They are at their limits as any signing over 8m would see the club make a loss.
Has anyone questioned what it was Benitez wanted or are they just blindly saying they should have gave him what he wanted?
could have been stupid wages and hundreds of millions in transfers
Wages is a given. Do you work for free?
Or if they sign someone on a free, net spend is zero but they could be splashing huge wages on him raising the wage bill.Wages aren't a given.
If there wage bill is 70m they go and sign a 40m player there wage bill is no longer 70m
How is it a given?
Oh well, pay them nowt, f***ing hellWages aren't a given.
