Tony Mowbray Rumour

I think I know who you mean and he always has some 'links' to a player and a rumour.

Mind, even I called it would be Mowbray. As obvious
Sorry like but when I heard the news that Neil might be leaving, my last thought would have been Tony Mowbray as replacement. Poster in question also knew everything in relation to Mowbray v Neil career records and achievements, I don’t believe someone would go to them lengths without knowing something was about to happen.

As I say, he’s a good poster and quite knowledgeable and won’t tag him as might stop him posting but he definitely knows something 100%.

I've just had a creme brulee and a little chant of Tony Mowbray's red and white army. It scans fairly well, I'm definitely getting on board with the idea.

It might be the effect of the creme brulee mind

The longer this goes on I am starting to change my mind, if it is Tony Mowbray then ok I will give the bloke a chance, he seems a decent championship manager just hope he doesn't mess about with the team too much if he does come in. We have a team that can compete and match the best teams in this league, with a few tweaks and a bit of luck there is no reason we can't be challenging for the playoffs.

If true, Kristian Speakman can gan to fuck! What a wanker he is.

Tony f***ing Dinosaur Mobray!
Hang on a sec, who do you expect him to go and get at this stage? Mowbray is a wise move and he knows this league well. If it's Mowbray, let's give the fella chance.

Wise move???? are you for real. Mans a dinosaur. KS has just looked on Linkedin for any manager out of work. TM is a horrid appointment on par with Thimon Gwayson!

He began his coaching career with Ipswich Town and took his first managerial job at side , where he won the Manager of the Year award in his first season. He moved on to in 2006, where he won the in 2008, but then suffered relegation from the the following year. Mowbray was then appointed as manager of , but was dismissed after nine months.

Mowbray subsequently took the manager's role at another of his former clubs, Middlesbrough. After a poor start to the 2013–14 season, Mowbray left Middlesbrough in October 2013. After a spell with , he was appointed manager in February 2017. He was unable to prevent Rovers being relegated to League One, but then won promotion back to the at the first attempt.

Uninspiring af that, Albon was 16 years ago, and nothing since is good

I would say someone with bags of Championship experience who knows this league very well, who is also known for working well with young players and also a local lad, is wise.

He got promoted from Championship once and then relegated. He’s been sacked ever since. Garbage. If we are planning on returning to L1 great appointment. He managed that great at Blackburn!

When we were first linked with Alex Neil our fans were absolutely gutted as well mind

Edit: when I say “our fans” I mean this board. FWIW I think Tony would be a sensible appointment, and would help us solidify our position in the championship (relegation this season would be an actual disaster)

Agree. Let’s get behind Mowbray - he knows the league and is a good bloke from the area - we need to sort out the new manager quickly - we just aren’t going to be paying the wages that dyche et al will be after. Haway the lads.
