Yep. He always speaks highly of us. I last saw him in 2018 when me and my wife (and new baby)were staying in the same hotel as Blackburn. He said Sunderland is a proper football club - so I guess he likes us.
 
He’s a manager who was doing well with a young Blackburn team, and that’s what we have.

Plays decent football too apparently, I’ll be more than happy with him till end of season.

Has done ok at Blackburn so hope that is nearer to what we get. Not sure he has been that keen on us in the past, sure he made cheap jibes when he was at West Brom but if it is him I will back him until he lets me down.

I couldn't care if he speaks highly of us we don't want him....diabolical appointment, will divide the fans. May aswell cancel the rest of the season
