Excellent cricketer, one of Englands best and massively underated. His batting against that fearsome West Indies attack was tremendous when others faultered. Could bowl seam, spin if needed and his slipcatching was unbelievably good.

I think hes a tremendous commentator as well.

I remember he took a catch on the boundary against someone like the Windies for England, down by the sight screen. One of the best I've ever seen. Helped by the fact that he is about 8 foot tall!
 
Class cricketer from the old highlights I've seen, bloody hate his accent though.
