Tonight we could make a great statement of intent

Completely agree.

It won't be easy but it's the type of relatively challenging game that a team with serious automatic promotion ambitions would find a way to win.

Very early days but momentum is a huge thing, and if we were to get the 3 points tonight I feel it could be the start of something.

Big crowd against AFC Wimbledon in a very winnable game and then a massive game at home against Wycombe.

Watch us lose tonight now in typical SAFC fashion

I think we're all conditioned to expect the worst, and you can hardly blame anyone for thinking that way all things considered.

Huge test of our bottle tonight.

I hope we win but if we don't and it's close and we keep doing the right things , it won't be a disaster.
We're not even out of the window yet and the new signings ,who will be mainstays, haven't had one game all on the pitch .

Depends on the midfield for me if 09 and Evans are playing great .If its the mess that played the last 20 mins we could be in trouble.

Agreed.

If even one of Evans or O'Nein plays I think it greatly improves our chances.

I'd be hugely concerned about the defensive element of our CM if neither play.

This performance and result will go a long way to telling us whether we are a team going on to better things or just another scrap like last season imo

We will press. They will give up the ball in dangerous areas. And then:

If we convert early, pick up momentum with 0 - 2 lead, will win comfortably.
If we squander our chances and it remains 0 - 0 after the first 30 minutes, then a loss or draw.

Depends on the team. He's clearly going to do something weird to deal with the aerial bombardment approach.

Flannigan at left back, 3 at the back or something like that.

Quite simply because we haven’t dominated anyone in this league since we came into it !
What have we done to merit thinking every team is an easy win ?
But people were not wanking over the opposition we beat in our last 2 games. I was wondering if Burton had made some class signings that I'd missed or summit
