he's a kid who is barely ready. He got outmuscled and bullied. Yet once the bandwagon is rolling then it's easy to jump on the "he's not trying..".

Unless you are in his head you cannot be certain on how hard he tried.

Of course you can go with the "I know what i saw " line.
 
Anyone else notice as the players came out for 2nd half.. .Watson came out on his own and was on the pitch by himself for a minute or 2? Players just stood in tunnel and let him stay on the pitch all by himself. I said at the time, that was weird.

Le bris shouldn’t be letting him do anything of the sort though. I really don’t understand who Watson thinks he is.

Maybe the coach said don’t give him the ball…….he didn’t see much of it ….

...which was exactly my quote after full time on here. Hjelde n Neil turned round and couldn't believe what they were seeing, looking at Watson trudging off the pitch and not looking back.

He'll be back out on loan in the championship soon enough but you'd think his attitude would've been noticed. The lad was atrocious today. The Watson of 5 months ago often made the wrong decision but kept going, took the ball and challenged defenders. This one looks like he can't be arsed.

Time and time today he didn’t even try and stop a cross coming in, was literally half arsed.

What was the atmosphere like to him down there marra?

were the fans on his back straight away or supportive? Tbf he I don’t think he did anything of note to get a positive reaction.

This is not having a dig at fans who were there just wanting to know the general reaction to him throughout the match.

fwiw my opinion on the situation is he should not be even on the pitch we could have Wilson on left and Mayenda up top but then there is a risk of one them getting injured
