Fair play to the kid. I was pissed off that we'd spent all that time developing him only for him to leave without ever really repaying it, especially as he'd have been worth a lot more if he stayed here and developed. After that though, fuck it, he's paid it back and then some, good luck to him.

He’s went from getting boo’d in every game he plays against us to being an absolute legend 😂.

Have sat next to scouts for Twente Enschede and Man Utd at U-21 games both of whom were looking at Tommy Watson

Not only is he obviously very skillful with a good eye for goal at his age but he is also a very powerful runner with excellent endurance

I would be very surprised if he doesnt end up playing at the highest level - whether it is with us remains to be seen as both Mundle and Isidor can and maybe prefer to play on the left side of the attack

Maybe the club might have some room to manoeuvre in terms of using money from Tommy leaving to fund (?) A right sided forward or (?) a goal scorer/finisher especially if his chances could be limited in future with Mundle back fit

But I would be really sad to see such a talented local lad leave and really annoyed if we let him go for less than absolute top dollar - more than we got for Jack Clarke for a start
