Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

I must admit I do font the timing of this transfer let alone the announcement baffling. I mean we could be in the premier league next season and if so I would have thought his wages would be negotiated in accordance with the division, but more importantly in my opinion he would have had a more realistic chance to have games in our team.

We could get knocked out tonight and be the end of the season , Brighton may have changed their mind on signing him...it's all if's and but's...

The deal was secured in January because they were willing to provide him guarantees and we couldn't offer him anything close. It's as simple as that.

It wasn't done in January

And how do you know this or are you just guessing.

I’m confused here mate.

It’s signed sealed and delivered as you say yourself. So how can Brighton “change their mind”?

Brains, mate, it's all @brains
I'm posing an answer as to why it was done at the time it was. Do people expect him to wait until the end of the season and run the risk of us not getting promoted then the offer is no longer there on the table?

Anyway not worth arguing about. They clearly rate him more than us....have practically 8x his wages with a signing on fee and people are using words like 'judas' etc. Its embarrassing man.
