What would the point of him downing tools be? The lad is 18 and only played a few games :lol:

Until someone can provide some actual facts on the situation then I’ll refrain from spectulation.

My understanding is that we don’t know if Watson actually wanted to leave or if the club were trying to make a decision based on ROI.

Either way, I hope that he now commits and continues to contribute to the club.

These things are simply part of football and - this is with my ‘had a cheeky chardy or two’ rose specs on - I can’t help but feel we’re getting better at either selling for $$$ or tying players down.

This from the same source that told you that patto was away cos Liverpool were offering him £60k a week? If so I believe it may not be as true as you’re lead to believe.

Neil's progress has been steady but this season he's got to the point where clubs will be looking, he's been that good for a few months. We're going to have to reward him to keep him.

Jobe will likely move during the summer as there's so much interest. But Rigg needs to be careful- for me he's has limited impact and not played well for ages.

Compare Neil to the lads who left under Donald - some of those will have made a few quid, but Mumba and Greenwood haven't made the progress Dan Neil has and they only have to look at Jack Clarke's two big moves to think maybe the grass isn't always greener....I don't even know where some of the rest of those lads are - one went into League 2 or National league on loan this season didn't they? Luca Stephenson on loan in SPL.

I heard he got so irate he drew his lightsaber and went at it with Speakman...Speakers tried to placate him but Tommy was in a blind Fury. Ultimately Speakers kept a cool head and struck a critical blow against the mercurial winger. Tommy was left abandoned in a pool of lava breathing in gaseous fumes that ruined his cardio vascular system. Tommy, driven by force of will and a personal vendetta, survived and swore vengeance against the Speakman rebel alliance.

Not sure how true this is.

How would someone at the club know his agent has told him to "down tools"? He won't even have been back with the team yet, has he rang up the front desk and said "my agent says I don't want to play for you anymore you bunch of stupidheads!"?

I've posted it in the hope it isn't true, which is why I'm asking for clarification from anyone who knows 100 %.
I'd love the lad to stay and be our best winger.

But can you not use your own nouse to work out that if his agent is pissed off and told him to down tools (unprofessional and possibly worthy of a fine) that information wouldn't come from someone at the club.

It's hardly rocket science.
