Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

Let’s not be naive. All he had to say was I don’t want to leave, I want to get fit, get in the team and win promotion with Sunderland. And that’s the end of that.

He didn’t. He doesn’t want to be here so we have tried to sell him but not leave ourselves short and it hasn’t got done.

Fuck him
Dear me

Won't be as subtle as others Fuck you

I already forgive him - in fact, I don’t see anything to forgive. Young lad gets offered a chance at premier league football. He’d be mad not to take it.

Now that it’s fallen though, I have faith he’ll be professional, and get back to the grindstone. He’s been nothing but professional so-far, so no reason to think otherwise.

Get fit, score again, and these freaks complaining will soon shut up about it.

Sick of listening to Skys Deadline Day shite coverage. (Premier this Premier that all day.ffs ) Do they ever consider majority of viewers don't support premier teams.

I’m sure the 10k a week contract sitting on the table tomorrow morning could soften the blow! Get it signed and get your head down young man and help get your boyhood team to the promised land!
Show me the person on here who wouldn’t make a job change for an incredibly salary increase and I may change my view . Same goes for the club , it’s understandable self interest

I think I must be naive as I have no idea wtf you are talking about

Deal not done, Tommy is delighted to stay at Sunderland

No reason to disbelieve this but it doesn't really matter either way. Just get his head down and let his football do the talking. If he's as good as the club seem to think he is, then he'll get his chance in the top flight soon enough. Reckon it's the best thing for him, while he's young stay close to home with his family around him.
Why didn't he just save himself and his dad a trip and say he didn't want to go to Brighton?

Doesn't matter, forget about it man.
