Don't buy it. Its not how we operate. Our largest fee so far under this ownership is £3.3m and we've sold 2 players alone for £25m in that time. No evidence whatsoever of us going for players at that level of cost.

What I'm saying is that you can't post over and over again with certainty "we don't have anything to spend and Cannon was only going to be a loan" when there is evidence to suggest otherwise.

We tried to get Cannon on a permanent deal in the summer. We seemingly tried again in January.

More likely to be Harte and his agency putting pressure on and touting him around. The kid has great talent and genuinely believe Sunderland is best place for him at this stage of his career. Needs 12-18 months of regular football while he grows physically.

I'm happy to reveal I know absolutely bot all about any of it other than money talks in football. Anyone having loyalty issues with this obviously doesn't pay attention to what football is.

The only concrete evidence we have;

Is that we haven’t improved our forward options, yet, this window. Rumours of bids cannot seriously be ‘evidence’.
