Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

Involved with the what the Falk podcast.

Has got injury stuff right and said yesterday that Wilson was getting made permanent.

Let's see if he's right again

He never said it would be in his contract. It would be a verbal agreement.
Reminder (said it before), but what Brad says on his own account is his and nothing to do with us.

Brad comes on the pod as a fan and nowt else. I don't ask him for info, nor do we discuss it. The podcast ain't a news site. Just to be clear!

Absolutely. Just meant that people may know him from there, didn't mean for it to sound like that was the source.

17 year old Sunderland supporting lad has breakthrough season at Sunderland, makes a handful of apps and wants to leave to be 4th choice. Very strange, can’t say I’d have the same thought process.

If we’re entertaining the idea we must be confident on a replacement, no options in that position other than Mundle who’s not training till next week.

Didn’t mention blackmails.
Go back to when we wanted Broadhead. He wanted assurances he would play week in and week out. We wouldn’t give in to that. He didn’t come.
What a load of bullshit! I know for a fact that is not true and I’m gonna call you out marra for spurting shit!

He was desparate to come to SAFC.

With 48 hours to go, we seemingly have FA talk of anyone coming in, plenty talk of one of our top young assets leaving for £10m which we won’t have time to reinvest all in a period when we’re supposedly putting our foot on the floor for promotion to the PL.

Really hope this situation changes in the next 24 hrs.

Watsons going nowhere, and we have no idea of what is planned for incomings.
No one knew we were going to get Isador on a permanent until it happened man.

People wetting themselves about whispers online.

So far this window we have got Le Fee, Isador, and neebody of note has gone.
Thats great so far.

f***ing calm down everyone.

It'll be fine man.

Although it is disappointing to sell such a great prospect as Watson, I can understand why it may happen. Mundle is also a great prospect and neither would be happy playing understudy to the other.

Agreed; people losing their shit about it , we're where we are through the squad that's playing now anyway. I'd rather not sell him like

I don't pay a lot of attention to Brighton but noticed yesterday they played a narrow 4132 formation.

As JC can confirm, going up a division to a side who don't play with wingers can be disastrous for someone who relies on space to get 1v1 with defenders and go past them.

I can see this deal happening, but can also see him being out on loan or forgotten about in 12 months.
