Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

The good thing about this is that for the next two or three games it would totally fuck up the oppositions preparation..

Especially given how so many teams currently seem to know exactly what we are going to do before the game even starts

Haway reggy mix it up
Aye having our players out injured will really screw the opposition up. They won't know what's hit them. Could even be a tactic by RLB.

I've had both medial ligament injuries and ankle ligament and recovery was 3 weeks but they were strains and not tears. I doubt the injuries were torn.
6 weeks for me with medial . Club paid for treatment but of course not what he will receive. Ankle on top will stretch it out unfortunately.

Looked like ankle ligaments to me, not knee? Likely just badly sprained rather than requiring surgery as that would definitely take longer than 6 weeks I think! No luck but he can use the time to build in the gym and come back stronger.

I must say mind, Watson has played far better than i thought he would. Still a little weak at times but you can just tell he is a very good prospect

(i dont watch any reserve / u21 stuff)

First start he got I thought he wasn’t ready. I thought he was weak, greedy and his inexperience showed

But I appear to be wrong! He showed up well at Shef Utd, was class in the Stoke game and was good against Bristol until he picked up the knock.

Such a shame his run has been cut short for him and the team

We would have beat Bristol easily if he didn't get injured. He was on fire.

People hearing things and some will be wrong, some will be right.

A few people were being told Rigg was basically needing to retire, when he only had a chest infection.

I’ll wait for official confirmation but wouldn’t be surprised if it is 2 months, it was a crunching block.

If he is out for 2 months, we’ll likely put Mayenda out on the left.

I’d go with Adil on the left personally, he seemed to go on the left of a 4-4-2 when he came on against Bristol City and did well.
