Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

Correct, ligament damage.
When the challenge happened and he was left in a heap on the floor, my son said straight away that he thought it might be his MCL (the side of the knee ligament, on the inside) with the way the challenge happened. My son done his and was out for 12/13 weeks. At least Tommy could walk, my lad couldn't at the time it happened. Guess we'll just have to wait to see what the club say.

We have 6 games between now and Jan 4th, which takes us on to 26 games played. Getting players back in a couple of months is only any good to us if we can stay in touch. We don’t need to win loads of games to do that but we need to be getting more than a point a game.

Player comes into team. Hits the ground running. Gets injured for 6-12 weeks within a week or two of making an impact.

It’s just boring as fuck now.

If he's out he's out fuck sake you move on and make the best of it.

He's good, but he only made a couple of appearances, in 1979 Gary Rowell was a riot scored 22 goals by March from midfield then out with a bad knee injury.
Just missed out out on promotion, but then next year we went up without him,..

Life goes on..

Player who comes into the team to replace injured player as well ! The lad will be gutted after just hitting the ground running as well. Just one of them hard fair challenges that has jarred his ankle/knee ligaments by the look of it

I think it's the fact we sold our 1st choice left winger in Clarke and then brought through Mundle who then got injured, and we moved on and brought in Watson who looked topper who has now got injured. Mayenda will have to fill in but the left side doesn't suit him

People rightly go on about depth but at this rate it feels like we need 5 players for every position.

It's starting to feel like it isn't it? We have players in our squad coming back from injury who I actually don't even know what they look like . Gutted if true as you could see how confident he was these last 2 games.

And then you try to find another way, the doom and gloom from some on this fkn site is wearing.

Doubt we have much else at the club at the moment in terms of under 21s. Ogonsuyi gonna be good but really only as a forward. After that think we got a lad from Ireland on the wing but can only remember Murty shouting at him a lot in games. Rusyn is supposedly a left sided forward so time he stepped up and showed us that renowned Ukrainian fighting spirit, but as he can't trap a bag of cement I doubt it.
