Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

Would drastically reduce our chances of promotion if we sold him, but hey KLD is only interested in "sustainability" so it's a massive win for him. We are simply just a development club now, the owner has no interest in competing in higher division.
How would it massively reduce our chances of promotion ?
The lad is still injured , he will need game time in the U21's to get up to match speed ,so may be available for the last month of the season .
I don't want to sell him either but making massively wild claims about the impact on promotion is daft.
L9ts on here prefer Mundle to him anyway ,not that I agree with them .

No club will progress selling their best players
If the owner wants to see us compete & be a premier league club we have to hold on to the likes of Watson , if he goes it confirms his lack of ambition

God knows why folk can’t express opinions all civil like, ya prick!
Just tuned in, what's been going on like ?

Assuming some saying take the cash he's only played a few games, others saying he could be twice the player Clarke is we need to keep him ?

Either way if he doesn't sign a new contract and refuses to, we're not in a good bargaining position in the Summer when he will only have a year left.

I'm not talking about Brighton. I'm talking about Watson and Sunderland.

He's 18 years old man, a lad from a mining village, still a bairn, barely old enough to buy a pint, needs his mates and family around while he's still growing up. There's plenty of time for him to spread his wings.

As for us, if the club rates him, selling him now would be daft as he'd be worth much more in a few years time.

Will be highly surprised if this goes through.
I don’t want him to go anywhere but young lads move all over for football. We have lads from Liverpool, Southampton and London/Ukraine in our youth team off the top of my head. Birmingham and Manchester in the 21s. Also a team mate of years at Brighton already

Oh just folk with different opinions resorting to handbags within seconds
He won't be sold fact
I have to say I don’t believe he will and I don’t believe he’d want to either. He’s got the biggest opportunity to do what we all dream of doing and getting us back to the premier league.

I can understand selling Clarke when we did, but Watson is too young, it wouldn't make sense unless we thinking of his contract running down or were given an offer we couldn't refuse.
Probably wouldn't be a good move for the player either at just 18.

Who’s this Romano fella like ?

Googled the fucker and just seems a prolific gobshite
He is one of the most famous journos in footy. Mostly as he get's paid to feed information to the public by agents but he is normally on the ball. It doesn't mean a deal is done but it does mean they are sniffing around again. They might be leaking it their side. Put's Tommy in a situation mind as i think he's SAFC daft and will stay here so we have to see how it pans out . He must know he has a better chance of making it at us
