We're clearly a club on the up so to lose one of our biggest talents in years i'd imagine wouldn't be on anyones wish list. Plus the fact he's a local sundeland fan, it makes complete sense to say it’s a privilege, 99.5% on this board would give their left nut to have played for us.

Potentially yeah. We will always lose players to better teams until we are established back in the premier league it’s about how we manage losing players that matters at this stage ie Clarke who we’ve done well without

Yes there is obvious interest if Fabrizio has tweeted it but pretty easy for the club to say no and we will reassess depending on what league we are in next season.

If he helps us get promoted then he can negotiate a PL contract and if not we can look to sell for a bit less than now
