Problem is they won't pay the wages a 5-7m striker wants.

I feel like we should sticky this interview with a transcript beneath it and him saying he is a striker in bold.

It’s like he signed just before Clark left, so half this board have sat there grunting at their square peg and trying to jam it in a round hole so that they can confirm what they knew all along; speakman is shite and won’t sign a striker and the world is a dark miserable place.

This massively. Selling Clarke is shit, selling him cheap is shit, but if we got in 2 good strikers and improved as a whole I can see the logic.

If the 2 midfielders are the best we come up with then the model will be absolutely finished in alot of fans eyes.

Are we selling our best players to improve and grow, or to cover the losses for KLD?
 
Imagine selling your best player for £15m and spending £3m on some 18 year midfielder and thinking that is anywhere near acceptable. Going to be another incredibly long season if a competent centre forward is not signed tomorrow, they have the money, no f***ing excuses now.

So saying Isidor is a LW is disingenuous as he’s played most of his football up top but saying Rusyn is a striker not a LW as he’s played most of his football up top makes me a mentalist? :lol: … it’s like talking to a chicken thigh.
 
So let me get this straight

This window we’ve brought in a keeper who’ll never play & a Striker on loan.

We’ve got rid of a keeper who never played and sold the best player in the league for well under market value.

We’ve not replaced the winger, we needed 2 strikers anyway, we’ve got no decent back up centre halves, we’ve got 4 midfielders for 3 positions with Ekwah leaving.

If we don’t make 4 or 5 signings tomorrow we’re a couple of injuries away from a relegation battle.

Rusyn was already here. I know he’s easy to forget as we saw next to nothing from him.

You cant tell me you think that’s been a good window for us man? I know you love to be Paolo Maldini to the club, but it’s not on.

Like I say, 24 hours to go yet so I’m not bursting a gasket yet.
