If we get beaten tomorrow, and then beaten the game after, and then beaten the game after.

Don’t come on here with your toxic tirades, about European expectations. Let’s be real, none of us expected us to be here at this point last year. So don’t say anything about how it says something about “our mentality”, or try to make one of the players a boo boy, or suggest RLB needs sacking because “he doesnt understand the premier league”. None of you expected Sunderland to be potentially challenging for a European place at the end of the season.

To be frank, I expected us to receive bumming after bumming this season, and to return to the Championship with our tail between our legs. But we’ve bucked all expectations, thanks to the ownership, the management, the manager, coaches, and the players, giving us a massive foundation to build on this summer. We’ve given every team we’ve played this season something serious to think about, which is more than can be said for most newly promoted sides, and even our last PL side which went down with a whimper.

Don’t move the goalposts now like many of you do and say something about “this team should be competing for a european place” bollocks, no one expected this.

For once, leave the toxicity behind. If we win, or get a draw, class lads love it, well done, but if it’s a loss, whey it happens doesn’t it?

I largely agree...but that's canny radgie of yasel like

We're having a great season, not sure why the op is so radjee.

He raises a fair point mind.

If anyone on here was offered survival (not to mention 6 points against the Mags) prior to the season starting, everyone would have been thrilled to take it.

There's a (loud and vocal) cohort on here who will still kick off if we don't finish in Europe now. It already started after the defeats to Fulham and Brighton.
