Thoughts on last night

And there was me thinking Forest would be taking it steady before the Europa league semi v Villa on Thursday.

Forest won most 50/50 tackles. Wanted it more imo

It wasnt one of our days but weve had good times this season and we move on.

The defence seemed very disorganised and Ive never seen Regis le Bris looking so glum.

Work to do next week but as some are saying Job Done staying up .

We were all over the place and almost everything they hit went in. Too many of our fans are bafflingly entitled, walking out in the first half after the last two seasons is disgraceful. At the beginning of the season I expected more days like this so it was a 'meh' moment from me

We weren't at it first half and at this level you get punished. My only criticism of Regis is we are very predictable, every team pretty much knows what our starting 11 and tactics will be before they play us and are ready for it.

After all the speculation this week on the head coach position it was a surprise to see so little of Regis on the touchline, normally he's standing there the whole game but he was sitting in the dug out more than ever, strange and makes me think there could be something in it.

Forest are a very good team. Incredible that they are fighting relegation.

We certainly shouldn't have lost 5-0 but we had a bad performance coming.

On the bright side we helped relegate.Spurs

To be fair to forest, they were due to give someone a spanking. How many of their games have they had about 30 odd shots but couldn't put the ball in the net. They're a top 8 team in paper thats just massively underperformed this season, in the league.

I mean theres no way it isn't a fluke. Jesus wins the header which isn't on target, if flicks off the back of Humes head and loops into the net. There isn't even anyone looking to attack the six yard box for the knockdown either. Scoring without having a shot on target, its very lucky.
Hume deliberately allows the ball to go over his head; poor defending is the cause of the goal!

Exactly this.

It was always gonna be a tough game, I was listening to one of the podcasts on Friday and they were predicting comfortable wins like 3-0. Forest been in good form and have some quality players. Think a lot of people underestimated them.

Although we were shite and it was embarrassing I felt a lot worse after the Villa game.
No where near for me. Letting in 5 with no reply at home to a team lower in the league has to be the worst result of my 50 years or so of watching the lads. Absolutely embarrassing. The Villa result was water off a ducks back for me.
Twas a game we were never going to win,we just don't beat teams in form.4 wins since just before Xmas, surprise surprise all 4 were in poor form.
It’s crazy but true. No matter who the manager is or the players or the division, we never seem to beat in form teams.
