I came home from Australia for this match and I was AWESTRUCK! it's bloody magnificent! I appreciate that there will be initial problems/complaints to sort out, but this IS our first season! Goodison (and Roker!) much loved but hardly the "Taj Mahal" This is the 21st century and footy grounds have to provide comfort and a good experience rather than simply be a venue!
It was hard to see us lose the way we did, but walking back along the Dock Road chatting with SAFC fans reminded me of how footy SHOULD be!

Apologies for the late response but I had been wondering what you thought of the new ground. I can see that it has your approval and hope that the match atmosphere confirmed your opinion of both sets of fans. It’s a pity that not all fans are like this.

Best ground in the league IMO, great view of the game from the away section, plenty of space to move around on the concourse area not cramped in like some stadiums(SAFC for example!), the plaza type thing outside the ground showing footy on big screen with plenty of places to buy food and pints was great anarl, one ground I’ll definitely be going back to next season.

aww what a lovely message my friend! Thank you! What a great season for SAFC! I'm really happy for you all! Sunderland AFC have always had a special spot in my heart (Not up there with my beloved Everton, but definitely a close second!)
