Similarly, West Ham play Leeds on the last day of the season. Not impossible for them to both go in to that game needing a point to guarantee survival.

Would he interesting to see how that game plays out

I'm steaming in without looking at the replies, but my understanding is that we as Sunderland supporters wanting to play European football next year should hope for a Chelsea/man city fa cup win 🤢 as well as a palace and forest victory in Europe. This would likely open up European spots all the way to a 10th place finish. And we have every chance of that lads and lasses. Come on!!!!

come on contrarian, we have a great set up and always seem to have a plan. We will make the step up. It's the Sunderland way now.
