Not sure, I think it was originally Electric ladyland, but I could be wrong.
Bit of research —-
The Electric Lady studios in New York were built by Hendrix in 1970 as a result of the high fees he was charged for recording Electic Ladyland at the Olympic Studios in London and the Record Plant studios in New York in 1968.
So the album came first.
