Him and SEB are still here......not good at all. Catts made some f***ing howlers last season, beynond careless. Down right f***ing stupid and goals came against us as a result. No other club is intersted in either player to date and not surprisingly. We gave SEB another contract which just smacked of desperation.

One is a liability most of the time but the fans love him becasue he runs around a lot. The other turns up when he feels like it. Normally agaisnt the better teams.
 
iI haven't been his biggest fan (Cattermole) but towards the end of the season he was immense . Jury still out but i will be delighted for him to carry on in the way he finished the season as that can only be good for SAFC

Was explaining this to a mate of mine who is a Liverpool fan. He said at the signing of Gomez - 'you can finally get Cattermole out of year team'. I said that I would happily sell every other midfielder at the club before Cattermole. I also said, that Cattermole is actually a better DM than Jordan Henderson, which is where Liverpool play him.
 
Unfortunately , only some Sunderland supporters share this view. Otherwise there would be a queue of other 'top' clubs to sign Cattermole ... and there isn't!

Yep, refs can't wait to book him, and teams like Hull went out to wind him up and play act, and he got no protection at all.

Gerrard has got away with loads over the years, but the media darling can do no wrong.
 
Our best player IMHO. The lad is an absolute beast.

Massively underrated player who let's be honest, probably has the best passing range in our squad.

Absolutely bang on.

We are Sunderland, and we can easily attract players miles better than Catts. The recent flood of internationals pushing through the doors shows his clearly.

I wish to the middle of my bones that we had a team of players as good as Catts.
