Aye. Played 5 times between 1970-1974. The 1972 edition was the first ever penalty shoot out in a FA cup game (Birmingham beat Stoke). There wasn't another one for 20 years when the FA dispensed with 2nd, 3rd etc replays in the 1991/92 season (the year we reached the cup final). The other semi final that season was the first to host a penalty shootout.

Never knew about 3 & 4th play offs mind, strange thing, but also noticed that the following season the mags invaded the pitch as they were getting beat and obviously they don`t take things like that very well do they........
