Love to see Root and Bairstow get hundred. Nothern boys and two really promising players.
i think it's partly psychological, going in looking at a huge score. cook looked very poor and we've been on the back foot since then. so yeah, it needs someone to come in be positive.
definitely think the kiwis are bowling fuller than we did so scoring shots are at a premium, though i always think england bowl to short.
