Seriously, those people who don't like it don't get 99% of the game.

It's a wonderfully specialised, complex and varied sport which lends itself brilliantly to those of us who love it and instantly turns anyone who hates it off from it.

As games go, it's arguably the best ever invented.

Folk just don't get it. Thing is, a 5 day Test Match ending in a draw still has 100 times the excitement of the average tennis match.
 
How 5 days of play can leave a game without a winner yet still be a fantastic spectacle. Exhibit A: Old Trafford Ashes Test in 2005.

Why a forward defensive shot is an art.

Why a 6 inch high urn full of 130 year old ash is the biggest prize in cricket.

To be fair there is a load of stuff that people who like cricket don't get.

One that really annoys me for some reason is when someone calls the sight screen a side screen.
