The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Getting rid of Short on its own is no real solution, there needs to be a better alternative available. He can't go unless he has someone to sell up to. Whoever comes in, we have no idea of their motives, their ability to finance any recovery within the League's regulations, their ability to run a football club from either a footballing or a business angle.

We could well be cutting off our nose to spite our face.

That's not to say that it's all sweetness and roses at the moment. It's not, but knee jerking without any kind of plan is asking for trouble.

They are laughable and mag-esque.
Look at your avatar man! How can anyone take anything you say seriously. On the payroll...

Although I'm not a fan of them as I have no idea who is posting wanting now, they aren't mag-esque at all, and pretty poor form using that term. Plus they aren't black and white.
Aye to be fair they are confusing. Be good if you could have a tinted Short out banner on your old avatar. Facebook style overlay.

Bridcutt and Buckley cost about £5m between them on relatively low wages. That's a drop in the ocean compared to the millions De Fanti and Congerton spent on players the managers didn't want - Borini, Matthews, Alvarez, Vergini (permanent), Diakite and Roberg, etc
I agree the DoFs share some of the blame, but it's not true the managers weren't responsible for any signings.

MON signed Fletcher and Graham for a combined £19m and they both left for nothing.

And who signed rodwell?

Also, the bloke who complained he never got enough money lumbered us with Lens for near enough £10m iirc.

Lee Congerton.

If everyone wrote "Short out" on the bottom of their seat and the empty one next to them at half time, then staged a mass walk out?

Washable markers aren't vandalism, you can nick them from work plus it would save a fuck load of trees.
