The Three to go Down

Out of us, mags, Norwich, Villa, Watford and Bournemouth, with Swansea risking getting sucked into it if they fail to get going at some point. We just seem destined to be involved every year but out of those teams there's not one manager I'd rather have over Allardyce for a battle like this, so that's what gives me optimism.
Swansea are 2 points above us, but Gary Monks rekons they are not in the relegation scrap.

Surprised people are suggesting Watford. Flores looks destined for bigger things in management, they've been solid defensively and their strikers are firing consistently.

(I say this now, I backed them and Leicester to go down before the season started)

Yeah, I know its early....but to me Villa and Bournemouth look fucked. Villa cos they have only five points and Bournemouth because the rigours of the league, injuries and soon suspensions, will catch them out with the squad they have.

One more place then...between us Mags, Norwich, for me.

Think our better squad squad make the differnece and it will be Norwich for the third spot.
Not sure more twist and turns.....WBA could go on a bad run.....someone always does....

Think Pulis is experienced enough to grind out results..not pretty but effective. I think second hald of the season we'll be like that too.

If I had to pick a team that might fall away it would be Swansea..some good players but have a feeling not the bravest of hearts in that midfield. good when things are going fine..not so much when it goes a bit pear shaped.

Monk says Swansea not in a relegation battle last I checked we are 2 pts behind. I think we all know we are in a relegation battle so why not Swansea?

that sort of attitude can bite you in the arse..thinking you are too good...in the great scheme of things, Villa, Sunderland and the Mags have won the title about 15 times between them...but all three know they are in a relegation fight..swansea? Delusions of grandeur

Would love Chelsea to go down. It's not going to happen but would be as funny as the Mags going down.

Too early to say really but obviously villa and the mags look the best bet at this stage. Fancy us to be well clear by April actually.
I'll go:

Watford
Newcastle
Aston Villa

This is what I think as well, have thought the same and nothing has changed my mind

Villa, Bournemouth, and the soapdodgers. They're in total chaos at the moment, and don't have any credible leadership either on or off the pitch.

I can't believe I'm actually stating this, but I think Newcastle will go down if they stick with McClaren (maybe just wishful thinking), I think he's totally lost the plot. He's a bit like their Howard Wilkinson. Hopefully fat Mike will check the relegation odds and not sack him.

On talk sport paddy power STILL has us clear favourites to go down.
They make a lot of money out of this business. We've broken the surface and gasped some air for now. Not enough to change the odds for the season though surely?
