How will we have a third wave when we are in the second wave (and arguably still the first as it never went anywhere) by default we will have a 'third wave' after the January lockdown as we will have created it by having a lockdown.

Because waves consist of peaks and troughs.The troughs are brought about by lockdowns.

There was a dip from last lockdown now it’s gan acca just in time for Christmas get togethers

This is a big part of the problem. I'm not in this boat, but plenty can't graft from home, and are working in unsafe conditions every day. Its no wonder people are then thinking fuck it, if I'm grafting all day in an environment deemed unsafe, I'm not then shutting myself away when I'm done.
