Have called it a day. Canny little band with a great guitarist. Proper music.Will be missed.
Didn’t really bother with their records, but went down to Stockton to see them a few years ago. They were excellent. As you mentioned, the guitarist was class. Never got the chance to follow that gig up which is a shame.
 
Saw them live a few times supporting people and they were undoubtedly talented kids but the music was nothing new and sounded a bit forced to me. Also very hard for them to overcome that initial hype once it had died down.

Too true. It was Dr Feelgood with new lungs and legs. I wouldn't thank you for new music nowadays. Think they had took the band as far as it could go though. They were trying to attract a younger audience but playing old mans music
 
Saw them 5 years ago in Galway, felt a bit manufactured to me & found the guitarist's Wilko impersonations pretty naff.
