that old chesnut, Im afraid that is a complete load of rubbish these days

years ago this was correct but since 20/20 emerged more and more of the best players in the world are not playing test cricket anymore, especially the bowlers.

Players like Malinga, Tait, Nannes, Lee, Symonds, etc would have played more test cricket

Take out the top few sides in test cricket and the rest of it is rubbish

england are a great side in home conditions and i personally think we will win both series if the side remains fit

and if that happens we will be in the top 2 iirc.

in the last ten year we have beaten the west indies, sri lanka, australia, new zealand, pakistan and south africa. all away

we have not won in india as of yet

at home we have beaten west indies, australia, south africa, new zealand, pakistan at home from off the top of my head

Kiwi/Pakistani and Windies are dreadful test nations which is why Keiron Pollard is playing IPL and not the WI

sure we won 2-1 from 1-0 down under hussain or atherton, this century

we have beaten the aussies home and away and also the saffers

the only major nation we have failed to beat is india, which will be rectified this summer
