The SAGE getting government handouts



The Sage is great and put on loads of free events for families and kids and loads of working class” gigs.

Sure if football was struggling and they asked they’d get support. One difference though is they’re still playing so getting most of their money with exception of gate receipts.

Good on them I say.

One of my mates has lost his job at the sage.

It’s very specialised and he is unlikely to work again as there are so few avenues open to him.
 
Sage = Charity, well run, providing a range of entertainment, accessible to most and appealing to a wide section of society.

SAFC = Privately owned company guilty of squandering 10s of millions of pounds this decade paying staff in excess of £1m per year but producing little. Usually run by absent Texan billionaire or a multi- millionaire fro Oxford

I think you might need to look a bit closer at what Sage actually is and does, then reconsider.

Its massively important and unlike our football club is a charity. So no issue with this at all.
