She’s been using the old saddle soap on herself I reckon, very glammed up these days.I was too mesmerised by Suzie and her leather straps.
Why no, you've just hardened to the concept.Over-sentimental these days, I loved it when the concentration was on the work being undertaken - the back stories seem to take up more and more of the show these days and my interest is waning.

Some proper tearjerkers on tonight mind.
Stick to "Salvage Hunters... The Restorers" on Quest if it's the back stories you don't like.Maybe - I’m certainly enjoying it less these days though I am still in awe of the proper craftsmen/women on the show and the work they undertake.

Nev is incredibleStick to "Salvage Hunters... The Restorers" on Quest if it's the back stories you don't like.
Still an enjoyable show but I agree with your point. The more recent popularity of the show (compared to when it was tucked away in afternoon scheduling) has driven a focus on the emotional stories. Just look at this thread as an example of this attention. It's not so subtle/natural now - the presenters directed to ask certain questions to the owners of the items to try and draw a few years out. Guess that's prime time TV for you. Still a decent program as they still show the expertise of the repairs being done.Over-sentimental these days, I loved it when the concentration was on the work being undertaken - the back stories seem to take up more and more of the show these days and my interest is waning.
I can relate as my dad died when I was 13.Loved the old bloke saying thanks for giving me the chance to talk about my dad, we don't always get the time do we etc
