I'm surprised you thought this was a red considering you didn't think Gelhardt should have walked against Luton in the play-offs.
Did Lockyer's leg go above Geldhart's head he was hit so hard from that incident?

This is a totally unprovoked attack. Lockyer is a cheat so I think I suggested he may have gone down easily.

Seems he’s got form for making some very questionable decisions to say the least mind!

I hope we send him back to Aussie land.
And of course we aware of how he has performed in all his other games?

Never known a profession judged so unfairly based of so little evidence.

Surely to judge anyone fairly you need evidence of all performances not isolated mistakes or games?

And it’s more than fair to say anyone reaching the lofty heights of the premier league has had plenty good games

Body shape wise it's similar to that Wimbledon twat (Thatcher?) who took Summerbee out.

You genuinely fascinate me Keith. All these years these debates have raged and every single time whenever a contentious decision has occurred in a Sunderland game your opinion lands supporting the decision that would benefit Sunderland. It's quite remarkable really, yet you still plow on regardless expecting to be taken seriously. I suppose it's quite commendable really in a strange type of way

You bore me Rob.

I can't remember. They were both red cards though.

I actually missed this one initially, as it goes - didn't realise it was as bad as it was.

What you mean with one look, and one angle it did not look as bad as when you have a slowed down replay.

Never known that happen before!!

If only people had the common sense like your good self to admit it.

It’s why I have very little sympathy with incorrect VAR decisions and officials should rightly cope it for those mistakes, but not for one’s in real time

Can’t emphasize enough the difference

Whether you think it boring or not it’s a extremely valid point bore out in your posting history.
I could say exactly the same about both you and him. You both waffle on defending refs constantly when there is very little defence.

This kid has taken Ballard out with no attempt to play the ball. It's not a hard decision. His body shape is all wrong, he doesn't jump towards the flight of the ball. He totally plays the man. Ballard was pulled up for fouling the keeper. Easy decision, not looking at the ball, just making a nuisance of himself. The difference is Ballard leant in a bit with his body, he didn't lead with his arm.

The ref and linesman have either completely missed the incident or decided in their wisdom there is nothing in it. How is 2 bookings in anyway the correct decision? The Boro player has committed at least 2 bookable offenses being kind re: the challenge.

Show me where I defended Dan Neil for getting sent off down Sheffield last season? It was a stupid challenge and he deserved to go.

From the evidence I've seen (not guessing) he was very unlucky to be sent off on Saturday. It was innocuous and there's barely a player ever gets a 2nd yellow for those actions.
