The pain, it's agony

These lot are more f***ing bananas than I ever thought they were.

Imagine having to compile that pile of shite just to try and retain some sort of superiority.

Results speak for themselves, we finished in a European spot, pumping them twice in the league along the way……daft *****!

Fuck me I’ve never known a club brag as much about achieving nothing over the last 30 years as those daft bastards.

All these European nights at the cathedral on the hill have amounted absolutely fuck all. Just one failure after another (participation trophy aside) and never once qualifying for Europe by winning a meaningful domestic trophy.

Think about the head start they had since we went down, the Saudi blood money and the cash they have coined in and spunked up building a squad that had recently qualified for the champions league.

Our answer? got promoted on a modest budget, flew in under the radar and paffed the gormless Saudi garb dancing fuckwits out twice on the way to an Europa league spot while they flop like a limp dick to 12th. It’s beautiful and well deserved after the shit we’ve gone through.

I hope to fuck we throw everything at that tournament, it’s unlikely but to win the bastard would be beyond my wildest dreams and make those daft fuckers implode after having so many pops at it. It would be poetic justice.

I absolutely hate these bitter bastards like. It’s nice to see that they can’t handle defeat graciously so they have to write blogs such as this to stroke their fragile, gravy-stained ego.

No dignity, no class… no European footy for them next season either

Shows their small time mentality going on about how many games they have played rather than trophy’s won (and that fairs invite cup doesn’t count like winning a pre season trophy)

And then it will be it's not the champions league, we haven't earned it, we only got in through others being shite. Blah blah
They do usually shut up for a while with a confused look on their face when you respond and ask them how many times they have qualified for the champions league as actual English champions.

It's really got to them hasn't it?

They can sense that the balance of power in North East football might be about to shift decisively. To us it always looked like sometimes we were on the up, sometimes they were, but to them it looked like they were the top boys, and while we might have a few years when we were on top the natural order of things would assert itself. A huge psychological difference. Entitlement.

That is why they were so quick to buy into the whole Saudi thing. They thought that somehow it was right and proper that they should become the "richest team in the world" just as we were at our lowest ebb. That's why it is so hard for them to process now things aren't going right for them

Lets not be like them, lets not take things for granted. But they are right, the balance of power might be about the shift. Permanently

Its ruined them. A lot have just mentally shut down. Probably the way I did when we slumped to league 1.
Imagine them going thru what we did.
The club will be leaking good news stories to the Chronicle over the summer in the hope it appeases the massed orks.
Noted a huge decline in barcodes on display when I'm out and about.

Hadn't actually read the article but thought I'd give it a go after reading more of the comments here.
F**king hell you can feel, smell and taste the bitterness and superiority complex seeping through every poorly constructed paragraph.

Underhand digs at the likes of Bournemouth, Brighton and Palace (who went even one better than them in winning the FA Cup), mention of the fact that more and more teams get into Europe so it was inevitable we'd get there eventually. I'm sure that's exactly what they thought when we were in L1 and they were the "richest club in the world".

From a Newcastle Utd fanzine what is/was the purpose of an article looking at how many games in Europe have been played by clubs in a certain region? Just imagine the amount of time the author spent looking up the stats, research, writing it, checking it (not long) then posting it. Each chance could have decided "aye this is a daft idea" but instead probably sat grinning and giggling away to himself thinking, this will show them.

Makes it even better. It's been absolutely glorious this season
They've been well and truly humbled
Humble is not a word I would ever associate with them.
Exactly this, we finished on such a high and have a long summer with lots to look forward to.

They barely put up a fight and lost to Fulham while seeing us qualify for Europe. Their squad is in disarray, they have no idea who will stay and go. They ended on misery and negativity.

The timings have been great this season, after we beat them at their place there was a 3 week international break.
They’ve also got a fine incoming for breaking financial rules it seems. Richest club in the world though.

Delicious.

The fact it all happened on the last game too. No come back, no opportunity to make amends. Results in, season finished.

We beat the current World Club Champions to qualify for Europe, they were schooled by Fulham to finish in the bottom half of the table. All the way to August to soak it up.

It has been torture for them. Their inferior neighbours beating them home, away, in the league and into Europe, and all in Year 5 of their git massive takeover.

And now they face a summer of trying to fix a broken squad with a manager they all hate, his nephew on transfers and a load of players looking to leave for European football. They even hate the new kit - what are they going to wear at weddings now? They were expecting world class players and a new stadium, and instead they had to sell St James' Park to balance the books.

Normally, this is when a fanbase start asking questions of the owner. Trouble is for the mags, their owner tends to execute people who ask questions.

They'll have better days I'm sure, but our return to the Premier League has ruined them.
