What has he done to justify losing it?

Let's be honest, 99.9% of posters on here know nothing more about the inner workings of the club than any other supporter.

I have no idea why we haven't yet appointed a manager. I suspect, neither do you or most people on this board. We don't know what the obstacle is to having a manager in and we don't know why those obstacles are there.

This young lad didn't have to buy us. He doesn't have to keep us afloat. He could walk away if he wanted to, and we'd be stuck with Donald et al with a stadium and facilities that would eat us out of house and home in this league. We could quite easily be the next Derby or the next Bury.

I'm sure I'll get called a happy clapper or whatever the fuck the in phrase is today, but I've seen no incompetence in the owner to justify losing faith in him. Have you, and can you document it?
I just don't see any improvements either on or off the pitch since we were first relegated to this league. He's younger and certainly appears a more pleasant character than Donald / Methven but I'm not convinced much else has changed. I hope I'm wrong and will be the first to praise him if things turn out better for the remainder of this season or next.

Has fucked the season in 10 days. It seems almost taboo to have a pop at the kid but if he's really running the show and his is the last word than he's royally fucked us over these past few day and his naivety has been on full show. You can't sack a manager in the last third of a season and take this long to appoint someone, there's too many games coming thick and fast and they are running out.
Blokes wank

Completely agree. Anyone but Keane will just show the lack of ambition and idea of our Sporting Director and board.

That was an absolute disgrace tonight, third disgrace in a row. This is a critical point in the clubs history, I for one would consider packing in the rest of the season if we appoint Lennon or McCann.

Sick as fuck
I can’t believe how absolutely gutted I am. We are no further forward than we were under Donald and Methven.

Dreyfus either appoints Keane ASAP or he can go and fuck himself.

Faceless, voiceless and leaderless said from the outset I was not convinced and he’s done absolutely nothing to allay those concerns as we sleep walk into a 5th season in this utter cesspool of a league!

Apologies to @LRW for nicking their post about KLD in the Keane thread earlier on today but not sure how anyone could possibly disagree with what was said:

Personally, after the Donald debacle, I've tried really hard not to get drawn in by Dreyfuss, and tried to judge him on actions and results.

So far, I've seen

- season cards go up (against the price freeze promise)
- at least one, and probably two, more failures to get out of League One
- a failure to do anything about the pitch, despite the press coverage about getting a state of the art pitch last year
- an absolutely shambolic off field operation, where it's impossible to get strips, the club shops are closed at peak times like pre-season and Christmas, and you can't get into the ground using cash
- no investment in the infrastructure of the stadium (unbelievably, the PA system is getting worse)
- a refusal to tell the fans who owns the club
- waiting far too long to sack Lee Johnson, who should have been gone the morning after the Lincoln game
- what looks increasingly like a ballsed up managerial appointment

I'm not sure what the list of achievements is meant to be, or why, after a year of more underperformance, we shouldn't be questioning him?

Been saying this for ages. Napoleon Dynamite with a private jet

Sounds like Richard Dreyfuss. They have certainly been tainted by the Color Of Money.

While on the subject nobody's mentioned Juan Sartori recently. Anybody seen him?

Should have gone in May last year. Then again in November.

Happy clapper though always clinging to the fact we were first without considering the massive amount of games in hand

We're not better than Rotherham and we're in a similar situation to Wigan with the turnover of players. Wycombe have maintained their squad from the championship.

It's a competitive league. What exactly do you expect? That we run away with the league?

Some realism needs to be instilled into fans like yourself.

You don't sack a coach with a quarter of the season to go and you're in 3rd place.

It's totally derailed us and will probably cost us promotion.

Johnson's aim was promotion and he was on course to possibly achieve that.

Now we'll never know because the board and sporting director are clueless.

Turning toxic towards him a KS now and to be honest, it’s deserved.

What an absolute car crash they’ve made of this season

It's not KLD's fault...he only owns the club..it's the team management, motivators, and coaching staff..yes LJ's demise was far too late in coming but you'd think a club like this could muster up enough determination to correct itself. If there's no strong management from Keane and end up with more mediocracy we're going to disappear into obscurity for ever as a club.

If he is letting Speakman run the show he deserves everything he gets.

Obvioulsy taken in by sweet talking chancers.

He probably isn’t but this will filter through so calling the OP as you have is out of order
“This will filter thru”

“Here, Kyrill, there was a thread last neet asking if you knew last night what was going on after 0 points out of 9. “

“Shit, was there? Get Roy on the blower”

Neither do I, but he hasn't been here all that long. I have resigned myself to the fact that we are in all likelihood the next Leeds or Nottingham Forest, rather than the next Southampton or Leicester. We will be out of the top flight for a generation. This isn't just a blip. For that reason I am willing to give him time, I'm not itching to get promoted back to the PL.

We don’t even know who the owner is.

Many were laughed at for wanting to know the breakdown of who owns the club, what role each shareholder will have, what say they’ll have. Laughed at by people on here, social media and ignored by the club when requested.

It would be great to know - as at the minute it looks like nobody is charge, and people who should be in charge are just watching us sink

I wouldn’t go as extreme as some on this thread but as was shocked he sacked LJ when he did and this is largely what you get when in our position and in this part of the season. We’d have been much less worse off just riding out the season with him.

What do I expect? Us to be closer than f***ing 17 points off the leaders when you factor in the games in hand. I don’t think that’s massively unreasonable. We are absolutely pathetic .

Sacking the manager hasn’t derailed us at all. Johnson derailed us in November when we lost 3 games back to back then. Should have been sacked after the Pompey game. Not hiring a new manager has derailed us
