Not sure why Nike decided it would be a good idea, if you change the colours on a countries flag, its no longer the same flag.

I broadly agree with this. It's easy to dismiss the complainers as 'flag shaggers', but it's such a pointless, easily avoided argument.

Who is it uniting and inspiring? Seems to have done the opposite and that was likely entirely predictable.

Who is ‘they’? I doubt it’s Nike. If they’d have been asked to just put a normal England flag on they’d have done it.

First of all I wouldn't be buying the shirt to start with because the prices are a rip off.

Secondly if I was buying an England shirt I would rather it had the actual England flag rather than some marketing non sense.

The home kit in itself is quite nice aside from the bastardisation of the Saint George's Cross. Why? I'm not the most patriotic person these days but some things such as the National Flag shouldn't be fucked about with.

Nike should never be making England shirts but to be fair that home shirt is the best one they have done.
